Make It Happen Pro ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

1. Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information:

• Account information you give us: name, email, phone, business address, license info, branding (logo, color), signature name.
• Customer data you upload: the names, contact details, addresses, photos, and notes for your customers, and the estimate / invoice content you create. This is your "User Content" and you own it.
• Usage and device information: log files, IP address, browser type, pages visited, click events, and approximate location (derived from IP). We use this to keep the Service secure, debug issues, and improve the product.

2. How We Use It

We use information to:

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
• Process payments via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Send transactional emails (estimate delivered, invoice paid, password reset, billing notices) on your behalf or to you.
• Send occasional product updates and announcements — you can opt out of marketing email at any time.
• Analyze aggregate, de-identified usage to improve features and performance.

3. Information Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Stripe — to process payments.
• Firebase / Google Cloud — to host the application and store data.
• Resend (or successor email provider) — to deliver transactional and marketing email when migrated.
• Law enforcement — only when legally compelled (subpoena, court order). We will notify you unless prohibited from doing so.
• Acquirers — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the acquiring company under terms at least as protective as this Policy.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: data encrypted at rest in Firebase, HTTPS in transit, role-based access controls inside the company, restricted employee access on a need-to-know basis, and audit logs of administrative actions. No system is perfect — if we ever experience a data incident affecting you, we will notify you within the timeframes required by applicable law.

5. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information.
• Delete — ask us to delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Export — receive your data in a portable format.
• Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. You cannot opt out of essential transactional email (e.g., billing) without canceling your subscription.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions only (sign-in session, security, basic analytics). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where laws may differ from your home country.

9. Data Retention

We retain account and customer data while your account is active, plus 90 days after a deletion request to allow recovery from accidental loss. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely. Some records (billing, tax) are retained as required by law.
